Ethel Soles McGee, a resident of Kentwood passed away at 10:10 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at her home. She was born May 1, 1944 in Loris, South Carolina and was 72 years of age. She is survived by her husband, Bobby McGee, Sr., Kentwood; son, Bobby McGee, Jr. and wife, Jill, Lafayette; grandchildren, Kayla, Karly, Colton and Jackson; brother, Paul Ray Soles, Charleston, SC; sisters, Jill Soles Johnson, Charleston, SC and Carolyn Soles Turlich, Atlanta, LA and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, George Tillman Soles and Mary Ellen Norris Soles and 3 brothers, Fred, Wiley and Earl Soles. Visitation was held at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 10 a.m. until religious services at 12 noon on Saturday, May 28, 2016. Services conducted by Rev. Lonnie Thompson. Visitation was also held at Kannady Funeral Home, 1252 Hwy 57 S., Dillion, SC 29536, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 with a graveside service to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Dillon, South Carolina.
