A resident of Tunica, LA, passed away at 10:11 AM on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Lane Memorial Hospital in Zachary, LA. He was born July 14, 1954 in Magnolia, MS and was 62 years of age. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Nancy Ritchie Carney; 3 daughters, Stacy Carney Crawford, Belinda Carney and fiance, Vann Bracewell, and Patricia Carney; grandchildren, Dylan Bradford Reed and fiance, Alli Bailey, Ricki Lynn Idlett, Ryan Idlett, Caitlin Reed, and Baby Bracewell on the way; great-grandchildren, Zhade Reed and Ryder Reed; mother, Eva Mae Carney; sisters, Ann Lane and husband, Mike, and Denise Lemoine and husband, Donald; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends. He has many brothers and sisters in the wind, Brothers of Brotherhood of the Greybeard Bikers and his Harley "Nicole". Preceded in death by his father, Wallace B. Carney, Sr.; and a brother, John Carney. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 10 a.m. until religious services at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2017. Interment in Ford Cemetery, Independence. Pallbearers will be Chris Hyde, Robert Hyde, Dyan Reed, C. J. Steven, Donald Lemoine, Aaron Barr, Jamie Barr, Vann Bracewell, and Donnie Barr.
