Joey Capdeboscq, Jr., a resident of Springfield, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2017 at his home. He was born April 4, 1963 in Amite and was 53 years of age. Joey always lived his life to the fullest. He is survived by his daughter, Linzy Capdeboscq Alston; son in law, Josh Alston; mother, Connie Evans; sister, Jamie Capdeboscq Sleeper and her husband, Josh; two nephews, Pierce and Barron Sleeper; mother of his daughter, Darla Straughan; and many extended family and friends. Preceded in death by his father, James “Jimmy” Capdeboscq. A Memorial Service will be held at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2017.
