A resident of Kentwood, Jimmie Lowe passed away at 11:55 AM on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond. He was born June 29, 1950 in Hopkins County, KY and was 65 years of age. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ellen Lowe; daughters, April Moak and husband, Joseph, Roseland, Melissa Lowe, Baton Rouge and Kimberly Lowe, Kentwood; 11 grandchildren, Melinda Hyde and husband, Rusty, Britany Cutrer and husband, Randy, Lindsey Kimble and Brandon Kinnamon, Tiphanie Allen, Danny C. Allen, Jr., Kassidy Allen, Emily Moak, Savanah Moak, Kaitlyn Moak, Breanna Fields and Seth Fields; three great grandchildren; 11 nieces and nephews and sisters, Sue Ray Campbell and Doris Ann Farris. Preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice Hook; father, Dorsey Lowe and nephew, Anthony Michael Sisk. Visitation was held at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, on Friday, July 1, 2016.
