Charles Tatman Hudspeth, Jr., a resident of Bolivar, LA passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016. He was born on August 5, 1945 in Magnolia, MS and was 70 years old. He was the business owner/operator of R and H Dozer for over 40 years, as well as an avid outdoorsman and U.S. Navy veteran of Vietnam. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Jewel Ricks Hudspeth; his father, Charles T. Hudspeth, Sr.; children, Benjamin Hudspeth, Sr. and wife, Johanna, Arcola, John Harlin Hudspeth, Bolivar, Charlie Karen Hudspeth, Roseland, and his “adopted” son, Ray Hutchinson, Pride, and his grandchildren, Braston, Raeven and Bennie Hudspeth and Bailey LeJeune. He is also survived by siblings, Francis Hudspeth, Houma, Steven Hudspeth and wife, Misty, Alvin, TX, Renee Hudspeth, Hammond, and Lisa Bateman and husband, Jim, Utah. Preceded in death by his mother, Inez Dykes Hudspeth Warren; his step father, James L. Warren and his step mother, Lorraine Hudspeth. Visitation was held at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, on Wednesday, June 29, and until religious services on Thursday, June 30, 2016. Interment Arcola Roseland Cemetery, Arcola.
