Ronald “Ronnie” Jeffery Jones, 56, born in Independence, residing in Wilmer, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Ronald Jeffery Jones was a wonderful man that was loved, is missed, and will be forever cherished. He was an amazing, father, husband, brother, grandfather and friend to all that knew him. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also had a passion for collecting antiques. “Ronnie” is survived by his wife, Debbie Jones of 21 years; three daughters, Frannie Jones Peltier and husband, Todd, of Amite, Kimberly Jones Parsons and husband, Charles, of Summit, MS and Robin Jones Gill and fiancé, Raymond, of Tylertown, MS; step daughter, Jennifer Marcotte, of Springfield. His beloved grandchildren include Emily, Bailey, Bethany and Austin Peltier, Melanie and Conner Parsons, Tyler, Katelyn, Alyssa, Austin and Dalton Gill and Jaden and Maggie Marcotte. He is also survived by his siblings, Sandra Jones Badon and husband, Tommie, of Independence, Glynda Jones Toney and husband, Brad, of Franklinton, Bobby Jones, Jr. and wife, Taunee Sue, of Kentwood, and Tommy Jones and wife, Darenda, of Chesbrough and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Jones, Sr. and Frances Easley Jones; grandparents, Jeff and Rebecca Easley and Eva T. Jones. Visitation was held at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, on Tuesday, June 21, and continues this morning, Wednesday, June 22, 2016, from 8 a.m. until a Celebration of Life Service at 10 a.m. Services conducted by Bro.
