Judy JoAnn Reno Smith, a resident of Amite, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017 at her home. She was born December 3, 1948 in Salisbury, MA and was 68 years of age. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, David Smith; sons, Lenard Lunsford and James Reed Lunsford; daughters, Vickie Lynn Avery and husband, Billy, and Teresa Evans and husband, Frank; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Hattie Jeanette Turner; brother, Carlisle Anthony; mother, Sadie Smith; and sister, Carol Strider. Preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Reva Inez Stephenson Reno. Visitation was held at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 10 a.m. until religious services at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2017. Interment Amite Memorial Gardens, Amite, LA.
