Charles Cleborn “Cleve” Tidwell, a resident of Greensburg, passed away at 5:15 a.m. on Friday, April 7, 2017 at his home. He was born January 30, 1933 in Booneville, MS and was 84 years of age. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Sybil Allen Tidwell, Greensburg; children, Donna Tidwell Manalli and husband, Robert, Maurepas, Sheila J. Lofton, Pine Grove, Paula McNabb, Greensburg, Kenny Tidwell and wife, Vanda, Livingston, Kyle Davidson and wife, Jody, Greensburg, and Eddie Jenkins, Greensburg; 12 grandchildren, Brad Ficklin, Dustin Lofton, Hoyt McNabb, Tyren Fairburn, E.J. Jenkins, Cody Fairburn, Jacob Lofton, Drew Davidson, Levi Manalli, Jena Jones, Samantha J. Bounds and Jessica Carlin; five great grandchildren, Conner Fairburn, Hadley Jones, Eli Bounds, Elisha Charles Ficklin, and Cruze Davidson; sister, Bernice Cade, Livingston; two brothers, Bill Tidwell, Livingston, and Jimmy Dale Tidwell, Greensburg; special nephew, James Tidwell and numerous other nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Annie Rogers Tidwell; son, Roger “Coony” Tidwell; sister, Clynese Phillips and brothers, Hubert Tidwell and Johnny “Red” Tidwell. Visitation was held at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., Sunday, and from 10 a.m. until religious services at 1 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2017. Services conducted by Rev. Joe Day and Rev. Michael Townsend. Interment Greensburg Cemetery, Greensburg.
